Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management (TIES)

The MIT Sloan Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management (TIES) Group is dedicated to addressing the challenges—and realizing the promise—associated with creating products and businesses from scientific research and technological innovation. The group espouses an interdisciplinary approach to successfully manage the complexities associated with technological innovation, product development, and entrepreneurship.

TIES faculty reflect a range of relevant academic disciplines and practical experience. In addition to creating new data and data sets, faculty teach, conduct research, and provide strategic mentorship in the areas of product and business development. The TIES group is closely associated with the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship.
