Research Summary

Turco is an organizational ethnographer. She embeds herself in a company for 9 to 12 months and conducts qualitative research on a wide range of issues, such as the role of gender and race in organizational development to understanding how a changes from a hierarchical to a flat organizational structure affect company culture. Her projects comprise two phases. The first involves data gathering on the field embedding herself in an organization for almost a year. The second phase involves processing and analyzing the data to derive insights and knowledge. She is currently starting phase 2 of a project.
