Getting More from Corporate-University Partnerships
Getting More from Corporate-University Partnerships
In today's fast-paced world, the synergy between universities and corporations plays a pivotal role in driving meaningful technological and business advancements. Universities can bring new ideas and approaches to the practical problems of industry, and industry can provide faculty and students with learning opportunities they simply can’t get in the classroom. However, it’s not always easy to initiate nor maintain these relationships. Industry and academia have notoriously different cultures. How can corporates approach universities, and how can universities best manage corporate expectations? Which modes of communication work and which don’t? What advice do experienced corporates have for others who wish to engage a university, and what feedback do they have for universities?
In our quest to foster more seamless collaborations, MIT Corporate Relations and InnoLead are delighted to present this study on “Getting More Out of Corporate-University Partnerships."
