Research Summary
Zahra Kanji is pursuing a health innovation startup in India. She has previously worked in clinical research and the tech industry and understands the large impact that Medtech will bring to healthcare and wellness. Resource-poor areas are in greater need of diagnostics tools that utilize holistic data and are in danger of being left behind as more wellness products and services are being built. Kanji hopes to mitigate this through her venture, Annica Health, by creating smart holistic products that focus on health and wellbeing and reduce suffering and barriers for people to prosper.
Prior to coming to MIT, Kanji earned her undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT and her Masters of Public Health from Harvard. She was previously awarded the Startup Leadership Fellowship for her prior venture and worked on the EKG module of the Apple Watch.
