his project is developing novel spray formulations to improve the application of agricultural pesticides. These new formulations enable the pesticide drops to adhere better to leaf and fruit surfaces without bouncing or rolling off, thereby decreasing the volume of pesticide application and limiting pollution of soils, surface water, and groundwater.
