The Corning/Whitehead Institute Center for MicroArray Technology is a state-of-the-art, full service microarray facility. Located at the Whitehead Institute in Cambridge Massachusetts, the center serves as the basis of operations for the scientific and technical collaboration between Corning Incorporated and the laboratory of Richard Young to develop microarray technology.

The Mission is to: (1) Provide microarray service and support for the Whitehead Institute and Corning Incorporated. (2) Integrate Corning technology into the Whitehead Institute community. (3) Pioneer novel technology related to microarrays. (4) Combine Corning's expertise in material science and manufacturing with the Whitehead Institute's expertise in biology to develop new biological technologies.
