Research Summary
Lozano-Perez's research has encompassed robot planning and manipulation, computer vision, and, more recently, computational chemistry and biology. His recent research has focused on applications of computer vision to computer-aided surgery, machine intelligence in drug discovery and information retrieval, and in the development of algorithms for the interpretation of X-ray diffraction and NMR data to obtain molecular structure. Lozano-Perez is also heavily involved in developing Web-based tools for education.
