    Mr. David Martin joined Corporate Relations on August 15, 2018 as Program Director for the ILP. Martin comes to OCR with deep and broad knowledge and expertise in program management, innovation, commercial and government contracting, and strategic planning. In his most recent position at Altran (Burlington, MA) as the VP Programs, Dave had many major accomplishments including leading an innovation team to develop new technology in the beverage-filling industry, and managing client-facing relations supporting sales and execution of projects. Before that, he was at Windmill International as VP, Product Development, R&D. There he spearheaded the move into new markets for an innovative satellite communications product including through the SBIR program where he secured funding and sponsorship. Martin also leveraged other government programs collaborating with the DoD and congressional contacts. He began his career in the US Air Force as an Active Duty Captain and served for 10 years as an Acquisition Manager, Scientist, Test Director, and finally as Executive Officer in the Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications Systems in the Pentagon. Martin also served in the US Air Force Reserves before joining Windmill.
     
    Mr. Martin earned his B.S., Physics from MIT, and his M.S., Systems Management from the University of Denver. He also earned a Certificate in Information Systems at the University of Denver.

    Dr. Madnick involvement in cybersecurity research goes back to 1979, when he co-authored the book Computer Security. Currently, he heads Cybersecurity at MIT Sloan: the Interdisciplinary Consortium for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity, ­ formerly (IC)3.

    Dr. Madnick holds a Ph.D. in computer science from MIT and has been an MIT faculty member since 1972. He served as the head of MIT's Information Technologies Group in the Sloan School of Management for more than 20 years. He is the author or co-author of more than 400 books, articles and reports. Besides cybersecurity, his other research interests include Big Data, semantic connectivity, database technology, software project management and the strategic use of information technology.

    Dr. Madnick has been active in industry as a developer of IBM's VM/370 operating system and Lockheed's DIALOG system. He has served as a consultant to major corporations and has been the co-founder of five high-tech firms and currently operates the 14th-century Langley Castle Hotel in England.

    Tricia Dinkel comes to Corporate Relations with several years of experience in the innovation ecosystem and managing relationships with startups and corporates. Tricia previously worked as Director of Navigate (NECEC’s flagship innovation program) at the Northeast Clean Energy Council (NECEC) in Boston where she led all operations and partnership development for 400+ startups, 65+ innovation partners, and 200+ investors & corporates in North America and Europe. Prior to that role, Tricia held positions with increasing responsibility in program management at NECEC. Before that, her experience included Director of Data Analytics and Sustainability Reporting Manager at WegoWise Inc. in Boston, Associate Director at the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation in Cambridge, Senior Sustainability Coordinator at A Better City in Boston, and Assistant Director at The Green Alliance in Portsmouth, NH.

    Tricia earned her B.A., Environmental Studies/Natural Resource Policy at the University of Colorado, and her M.A., Environmental Science Education at the University of New Hampshire. She served on the NECEC Diversity & Inclusion Committee and as a member of the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council), Massachusetts Chapter.

    Steve Golter’s work history and technical experiences started in the early 1990’s, working at his father’s local internet service provider in Grand Junction. After graduating high school, he moved to Silicon Valley to work for an electrical engineering firm as an IT technician, learning all about the new technologies of the “dot-com” era. After the “dot-com” crashed, he moved to New York City to apply his newly learned technical skills to the financial and fashion industries as an IT project manager. After exploring the big-apple, Steve moved to Denver and started to work at the casinos. From there, he moved up the corporate ladder from Systems Analyst to Director of IT. In this time, he learned the casino business and grow his network of people. In 2011, Steve started a consulting company called Doradus Labs. Quickly Doradus contracted with many casinos in the Colorado and Las Vegas markets. The technology and services that Doradus offers, range from building casino management systems from the ground up to machine learning and surveillance integrated software programs that give casino owners enhanced tools to make business decisions. Around 2016, Steve teamed up with Tyler Schube and MIT to commercialize FOVEA. Since then, he has built and team and the FOVEA to what it is today.

He is an MBA graduate from the MIT Sloan School of Management where, as a student, he helped found a manufacturing tech startup which he now advises. Prior to his time at MIT, Ben spent over 6 years with Ford Motor Company in roles spanning across connected vehicle engineering and technology strategy. He holds a B.S.     Shadi El Abdallah is based in the UAE and leads REGENT's business development and government relations across the Middle East region. Prior to REGENT, Shadi worked for GE Aviation, where he led the Sales activity within the MENA region for GE's military segment. Shadi started his professional career at Northrop Grumman - Aerospace Systems in the United States where he held various flight test engineering roles in support of unmanned aircraft systems development programs. Shadi earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Applied Physics from the University of California, San Diego.  He has also completed an MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.

    Eric Huckabee spent nearly 12 years of his professional career as an employee of the US Government, leveraging his education as an Electrical Engineer to tackle some of the highest priority national security challenges. While leading and supporting many fast paced, high impact, and highly technical projects he developed strong skillsets in the areas of Program Management and Manufacturing. He later honed these skills as a contractor for multiple US Department of Defense customers. In 2022, Eric brought his expertise as an Electrical Engineer and Program Manager to Spectrohm as the Product Engineer, where he plays a key role in product design and development. Eric leads work on Spectrohm’s prototype inSpecTank fuel inspection tool and Portal screening system.

    Peter H. Schmidt, Co-Founder and COO of Transcend Air, is an entrepreneur and executive with startup, turn-around, and large enterprise experience. Schmidt’s aviation roles have included sUAS test pilot, with two first flights; President & COO of Linear Air, Eclipse 500 operator and Part 135 online charter marketplace; COO of Jet Advisors, a business aviation consultancy; and SVP of National Aviation Academy, the second largest Part 147 aviation mechanic school in the U.S. In his pre-aviation career, Schmidt led several networking and embedded systems companies, including as CTO North America for Ipanema Technologies, CEO of Echo Engineering, Division Manager of Teradyne, and Co-Founder and President of Midnight Networks. An aerobatic pilot, Schmidt did his undergrad in computer science and his masters degree in management, both at MIT. He currently serves as Chair of the Electric Flight Test Committee of the E-VTOL Flight Test Council.

Prior to assuming his role in July 2018, Olivier was Executive Vice President of Products & Services, based in Norway. In that role, Olivier was overseeing the teams managing Kongsberg Maritime’s products portfolio aligned with market demands and future trends, such as autonomous operations and digital performance. Olivier was also accountable for Kongsberg Maritime’s strategic initiative around Information Management System and Smart Data.

    Olivier started his international career in the offshore drilling industry in 1998, working for Schlumberger/Transocean as a Controls Engineer where he was involved in the installation, commissioning and support of Dynamic Positioning and Automation systems on offshore drilling rigs. In 2004 Olivier joined Air Liquide, the world leader in industrial gases, where he served for 9 years in a variety of innovation management roles, including R&D Group Manager and Program Director, driving Air Liquide’s research efforts in the field of Advanced Process Control and Operations Research to support the company’s efficiency program.

    A dual citizen (U.S./France), Olivier graduated from the Grenoble Institute of Technology (INP Grenoble) in France in 1998 with a Master of Engineering (Diplôme d’Ingénieur) in Electrical Engineering. He completed the Advanced Management Program with MIT Sloan Executive Education in June 2022.

    Dr. Martina Mazzarello is a Postdoctoral Researcher based in Boston at the MIT Senseable City Lab. Passionate about exploring the convergence of the environment's physical, digital, and human interaction layers, Martina is at the forefront of groundbreaking research in urban dynamics.

    As a Researcher and Research Manager, Martina leads multiple projects utilizing data and scientific methods to understand the evolving ways people live and work in cities. Engaging her audience with interactive keynotes and workshops, Martina ensures that her research has a real-world impact.

    Martina's notable publications include "The effect of co-location on human communication networks" (2022) in Nature Computational Science and "Boil water alerts and their impact on the unexcused absence rate in public schools in Jackson, Mississippi" (2023) in Nature Water.

    An accomplished speaker, Martina has participated in various webinars and keynote events worldwide, including cities such as Amsterdam, Rome, Helsingborg, Milan, Venice, Seoul, Busan, Trondheim, Laval, Cali, London, Jakarta, Beijing, Thuwal, New York, Singapore, Boston, and Mexico City.

    As a Project Storyteller, Martina transforms complex research into engaging websites, stories, and visualizations. Her design expertise is evident in projects like the Jackson Boiling website (https://jackson-boiling.org/), MIT Senseable City Lab's Proximate project (http://senseable.mit.edu/proximate), and the Nature Computational Science covers (https://www.nature.com/natcomputsci/volumes/2/issues/8), as well as the online research tools platform, DataSlots (https://dataslots.org).

    Martina thrives in collaborative environments, contributing to teams by building strategic partnerships, producing new developments, and supporting design, visual, and tech implementation projects. She envisions each project as an opportunity to design research tools and methods that enhance urban spaces and services, fostering new human interactions.

    With a background that spans Italy (Genoa, Milan), the United States (New York, Boston), China (Shanghai), and Kenya (Mombasa), Martina brings a diverse perspective shaped by a desire to explore the world and new cultures through meaningful interactions. Currently based in Boston, Martina is set to embark on the next chapter of her journey in Dubai.

    Fareed Aljawhari has a long and varied work experience. Fareed began his career in 1999 as a Design Manager for DWTC Exhibitions - ICT Cluster. In 2006, he joined Arab Media Group as Creative Director, where he developed successful, productive, long-term relations with official clients, such as the UAE cabinet, Dubai Executive Council, Dubai Executive Office, Dubai Media Affairs Office, MBRF, Dubai Holding, Al Ahli Football Club, DEWA, CDA, Dubai Police and DOHMS. Fareed also provided creative direction and high-level conceptual design for consumer brands including MTV Arabia, Noor Dubai TV, Shoof TV, Nickelodeon Arabia, Emarat Alyoum, Emirates Business 24|7, Al Bayan, Virgin Radio, Career Junction, Fulcrm DM, Alarabiya Radio, Al Khaleejyia Radio, Dubai 92, Dubai Eye, Bin Hindi Group and SmartSAT. In 2014, he became Chief Executive Officer of Micropolis Robotics.

    Fareed Aljawhari obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Architecture from Ajman University between 1998 and 2003. Fareed then pursued a Masters in Design and Visual Communications from Wilmington University in 2004.
