Bio
Mr. Jewan Bae joined the Office of Corporate Relations in January 2017. He was promoted to Director of Corporate Relations in February 2022.
Mr. Bae comes to OCR with deep strategic marketing and new business development experience. During his 16-year employment at W.R. Grace, Jewan held many strategic positions, including most recently as Director of Strategic Planning & Process for Grace Catalysts Technologies where he led new products introduction, portfolio prioritization, resource planning, and three-five year strategic planning of the $1.2B Catalysts Technologies business. Before that, Bae was Director of Sales for the Americas for Grace Specialty Catalysts. In this position, he managed a $100M business in North America and Latin America. Before that, Bae was Global Marketing Director, Global Business Manager (Polypropylene), and Commercial Development Manager for Grace Construction Products. He began his career at Grace as Product Manager.
Before his time at Grace, Bae worked as Product Manager, International Marketing Manager, Operations Manager, and Technical Manager at Air Products & Chemicals (Allentown, PA), as a Research and Teaching Assistant (Materials Science & Engineering) at Notre Dame, and as Noncommissioned Officer (managed Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical program & equipment) at the 25th Transportation Center, 8th US Army, Seoul, Korea.
Bae earned his B.S. Ceramic Engineering at Yonsei University in Seoul, his M.S. Materials Science and Engineering at Washington State University, and his MBA at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.
