Christy Garcia

Christy Garcia has more than 20 years of diverse leadership experience spanning innovation, strategy, and organizational transformation across the private and academic sectors. As the founder and CEO of ABGI Brasil, she led the firm’s growth into a leading innovation and R&D funding consultancy serving major corporations and institutions across Brazil. She has also served as a Lecturer at MIT Sloan, collaborating with Professor Simon Johnson and the Action Learning Office to advance project-based learning and mentor students through the Global Entrepreneurship Lab (G-Lab).

Christy currently serves as a Program Director at the MIT Industrial Liaison Program (ILP), working at the intersection of industry, research, and innovation to strengthen strategic partnerships and accelerate the translation of MIT’s research and expertise into real-world impact.
