Kate Delaware
Director, Communications, Events, Research, & Operations (CERO)
Bio
Kate Delaware recently joined as the Director of Communications, Events, Research, & Operations for the MIT Industrial Liaison Program (ILP) and STEX at Corporate Relations, where she leads four cross-functional teams responsible for global communications, executive-level events, research output, and operational excellence. She brings more than two decades of experience across finance, marketing, manufacturing, and e-commerce, with a strong focus on building high-performing teams and scaling organizational impact.
Immediately following her undergraduate studies, Kate spent 8.5 years in the financial sector at HSBC and Goldman Sachs, working in fixed income trading and high-net-worth wealth management. She later transitioned into manufacturing, where she led business development, marketing, operations, communications, and brand initiatives for 12 years, driving growth, operational efficiency, and strategic partnerships.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Diego and an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
