Ariadna Rodenstein is a Program Manager at MIT Startup Exchange. She joined MIT Corporate Relations as an Events Leader in September 2019 and is responsible for designing and executing startup events, including content development, coaching and hosting, and logistics. Ms. Rodenstein works closely with the Industrial Liaison Program (ILP) in promoting collaboration and partnerships between MIT-connected startups and industry, as well as with other areas around the MIT innovation ecosystem and beyond.
Prior to working for MIT Corporate Relations, she worked for over a decade at Credit Suisse Group in New York and London, in a few different roles in event management and as Director of Client Strategy. Ms. Rodenstein has combined her experience in the private sector with work at non-profits as a Consultant and Development Director at New York Immigration Coalition, Immigrant Defense Project, and Americas Society/Council of the Americas. She also served as an Officer on the Board of Directors of the Riverside Clay Tennis Association in New York for several years. Additionally, she earned her B.A. in Political Science and Communications from New York University, with coursework at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico City, and her M.A. in Sociology from the City University of New York.
Chief of Staff, Lydian
Amanda Ritter is the Chief of Staff to the CEO at Lydian, an e-SAF (sustainable aviation fuel) technology developer, where she drives policy, commercial strategy, and communications to support the company’s vision of decarbonized flight and resilient energy production. Lydian’s novel technology uses captured CO2, water, and renewable electricity to produce a sustainable, drop-in alternative to today’s fossil-based jet fuel that reduces lifecycle emissions by up to 95%. Prior to Lydian, Amanda held Chief of Staff roles at Boom Supersonic and LinkedIn, driving strategy & operations and aligning public and private sector stakeholders on large-scale projects. She holds a B.A. from Northwestern University.
CTO, Dexmate
Yuzhe, the CTO of Dexmate, is a full-stack roboticist with a Ph.D. from UCSD, where he specialized in the intersection of AI and robotics. He is well-known for his groundbreaking contributions to advancing robot skill learning by utilizing human video data, VR teleoperation data, and simulation data. His innovations have been widely adopted by major tech companies, such as NVIDIA, as well as numerous physical AI organizations. During his Ph.D., he also created one of the fastest simulation engines in the world, showcasing his expertise in the field.
Co-Founder & CTO, LineLab
Scott Nill is the CTO and co-founder of LineLab. He has more than a decade of experience in advanced manufacturing and production system development. His work spanning aerospace, biopharma and biomanufacturing, green technologies, and consumer products, among other verticals, seeks to bridge engineering, operations, and finance to scale innovative products. He holds a Master’s and PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Operations from MIT.
Co-Founder & COO, Black Mesa
Ed Chung, M.D. is co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Black Mesa, a Boston-area startup building AI-enabled tools to transform QA processes, automate data extraction from paper records, and improve sponsor-manufacturer relationships in biomanufacturing. He has degrees in biology and chemical engineering from MIT and an M.D. from the Duke University School of Medicine. His career path has taken him through roles in clinical leadership, the healthcare C-suite, and technology startups. In addition to his work at Black Mesa, Dr. Chung remains active as a pediatric hospitalist and is also a medical officer for the MA-1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team.
Chief of Staff, InSpek
Tifenn is Chief of Staff at InSpek, a start-up company that develops on-chip optical sensing solutions for monitoring bioproduction. She joined InSpek with a background in engineering and a dual degree in innovation and technology management. Prior to her role at InSpek, she gained experience in the deep tech sector as the CEO’s right-hand, contributing to strategic planning, operations and scaling activities. She combines technical knowledge with business strategy to ensure alignment between R&D, market needs, and organisational growth.
Founder & CEO, Alphabiome
Dr. Yaniv Altshuler is Founder and CEO of Alphabiome AI, and a research fellow at MIT and an experienced entrepreneur, renowned for his expertise in designing and implementing scalable AI systems. Dr. Altshuler is the author of three books on the theory of Artificial Intelligence, as well as over 80 scientific papers, and 18 patents in this field. His novel work has gained global recognition, including the prestigious title of Technological Pioneer awarded by the World Economic Forum.
Co-Founder & CTO, Before Health Intelligence
Hamid Noori is a scholar, tech-entrepreneur and co-founder of Before Health Intelligence, a medical AI company, as well as founder and CEO of The Cultivated B a multinational Biotechnology company. He received his PhDs in mathematics and physics from Universities of Heidelberg and Kaiserslautern and was honored with Venia Legendi from the Medical Faculty Mannheim of Heidelberg University. In 2008, he moved to Princeton University and focused his research on multiscale problems in neurosciences. He subsequently worked as a group leader in the Central Institute of Mental Health and occupied visiting professorships at the Institut des Hautes Etudes Scientifiques and Courant Institute for Mathematical Sciences of New York University, where he works with the Abel-Prize winner Mikhael Gromov on singularities of geometric flows. He served in an associate professor equivalent position and the head of the independent research group Neuronal Convergence at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics. He was accepted as a Feodor-Lynen fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in 2016, as a fellow of the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities in 2017, as an overseas fellow of the Royal Society for Medicine in 2018. Until recently, he was also a research affiliate in the McGovern Institute at MIT, USA. He received the Manfred Fuchs award for his pioneering work on neurobiology and cybernetics in 2017. Dr Hamid Noori was further awarded with the Ursula M Händel animal welfare award of the German Science Foundation and the DGPPN (German Association for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics) award for excellence in research of psychiatric diseases in 2018 and the Fred Yates award of the Society for the Study of Addiction for Researcher of the Year in 2019. In 2021, he was nominated and accepted as a full member of Sigma Xi (MIT Chapter. His latest academic appointment was the deputy director of a Chinese Academy of Sciences institute in Shanghai. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Noori received generous research funding from various programs including the Horizon2020 program of the European Commission and has published numerous scientific articles in high-impact journals such as Nature Communications, Cell Reports, Trends in Neurosciences and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that have attracted the attention of renown international press such as the New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, and Independent.
Founding Product Engineer, Nowadays
Emily Zhang is the Founding Product Engineer of Nowadays, the first AI platform for streamlining corporate events. She studied Computer Science and Design at MIT, where she ran events across campus – from a fine dining popup series serving 600+ students to directing the Institute’s largest undergraduate-run career fair for over 1,500 attendees. A lifelong builder, Emily previously grew her online slime business to over 200,000 followers and 5000+ sales, and has led applied machine learning research projects in communities across the U.S. and Italy.
