Research Summary
Dr. Jan-Georg Rosenboom is a Chemical Engineer working at the interface between frontier science and industrial translation. Expert on Polymer Chemistry and Plastic Materials for Sustainable Packaging and Drug Delivery Devices.
Extensive experience in (bio)polymer and plastic research, material and process development, and industrial implementation. He has 10 years experience through work on bioplastic synthesis (PEF as "green PET") at ETH Zurich and SULZER ChemTech in Switzerland, biorefinery processes (UC Berkeley), and functional polymer chemistries for controlled drug release at MIT and Harvard hospitals.
