Research Summary
Professor Ivanov's research focuses on large-scale structure, effective field theories, black holes and astrophysical and cosmological data analysis.
Most of the time, Ivanov's studies cosmological structure formation. He has developed a first-principle theoretical description of gravitational clustering and use it to extract new information about the universe from large-scale structure data. He is also interested in black hole physics and gravitational wave science.
