Investigated how mobile depot concepts can support the provision of highly responsive last-mile delivery services in light of on-demand consumerism. Developed quantitative models simulating last-mile distribution processes in urban markets, evaluated their congestion and emissions footprint, and derived recommendations on how cities can effectively encourage sustainable last-mile services through dedicated infrastructure investments and congestion charges.
