Prof. Cesar A Hidalgo

Professor Hidalgo's work focuses on the use of big data to improve the understanding of complex systems, from the world economy, to the development of human culture. His research combines the development of empirical methods, analytical models, and online rapid visualization tools. Hidalgo is also an art enthusiast and has created interactive art exhibits as well as published artwork that uses data collected originally for scientific purposes.
