Research Summary
Dr. Montpetit's research wants to create the converged networks that take advantage of heterogeneity for providing the efficiency and revenue generation operators want and the flexibility and quality of experience application developers and end users demand. She uses Network Coding as part of a strategy for content creation, dissemination and protection and applies the work to social viewing scenarios (social TV in particular).
