Research Summary
The goal of Adalsteinsson's research is to use liquid biopsies (a.k.a. blood biopsies) to identify mechanisms of response and resistance to therapy, enable routine monitoring of patients with cancer, and eventually provide a mechanism for early detection of cancer.
