Dr. Lehr's research focuses on the economics and regulatory policy of the Internet infrastructure industries. He teaches courses on the economics, business strategy, and public policy issues facing telecommunications, Internet, and eCommerce companies, and is a frequent speaker at international industry and academic conferences. His research publications and on-going work addresses such topics as measuring the economic impact of broadband, the pricing of Internet services, transitioning from telecommunications to Internet regulation, commercializing new wireless technologies and the implications for spectrum management, and identity management and future Internet architectures.
