Bio

Katrina Khalil is the Associate Director, Communications at MIT Corporate Relations.

Before joining Corporate Relations, Khalil worked for the MIT Technology Licensing Office, where she spearheaded several communications-related efforts, an internship program, and managed the institute's Trademark licensing.

Before joining the MIT community in 2013, Khalil was the Communications and PR Manager for Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East. Her former positions include working with the British Council, serving as a cultural attaché to the British Consulate, the Association of Women Committees for Social Work, and the UNDP-Iraq / United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).

Khalil earned her bachelor's in Journalism and Communications and is currently pursuing her master's degree in Journalism at Harvard Extension School.

Outside of her professional life, Khalil is a painter and sculptor. She has participated in solo and international group exhibitions.
