Bio
Katrina Khalil joined Corporate Relations (CR) as Communications Administrator on January 13, 2020.
Khalil comes to CR from the Technology Licensing Office (TLO). In her role as Communications & Trademark Associate at the TLO, Khalil managed the trademark licensing program which included preparing license agreements and ensuring that all products comply with the MIT branding guidelines. In this role, she has enjoyed relationships with vendors, faculty, students, and many other stakeholders across the Institute. Before her role at the TLO, Khalil was the Communications & PR Manager for a 5 Star luxury hotel in the West Bank where she developed and managed all aspects of the business and marketing plan. In previous positions, sge worked for the British Council in Jerusalem, for the Association of Women Committees for Social Work in the West Bank, and for UNDP-Iraq / UNAMI in Amman, Jordan.
Khalil earned her B.A. Communications at Birzeit University in the West Bank, and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Journalism at the Harvard Extension School.
