Significant gains in community health worker (CHW) efficiency and effectiveness may be achievable with greater local knowledge sharing and more detailed area maps than are commercially available.
We will develop and test a digital map service based on satellite analytics of rural households and roads. This will be coupled with a mobile app and navigation interface designed for CHW’s. Data from the mobile app will continuously improve the machine learning for satellite analytics. In collaboration with Partners In Health we will test our approach in the field (first in Rwanda, later India).
