Professor Emanuel is a prominent climate scientist who has developed presentations for conservative audiences that discuss the risks associated with climate change and on technological solutions that do not produce severe economic dislocations or require policy measures that conservatives inherently oppose. The IPL is helping Professor Emanuel to develop briefings for prominent members of and donors to the Republican Party as well as conservative organizations that are skeptical of the established science on climate change.
