Client Perceptions of Financial Advisors on Social Media


Financial advisor-client relationships are critical to behaviors that optimize retirement security. In the Age of Social Media, what characteristics of advisors are most important and valuable to clients? The current project seeks to understand how people are sharing their impressions of financial advisors online by scraping social media sites, such as Yelp, for reviews and performing content analysis to quantitatively determine what is top of mind and most of value to clients.
