Design Stage Risk and Uncertainty Management in Marine Systems Development

This project applies Systems Engineering Advancement Research Initiative (SEAri) systems engineering methods to the marine systems domain, including determining main uncertainty and risk factors that need to be taken into account at design time. The project illustrates methods application using a selected case, and uses results to formulate a next phase collaborative research project.

Research steps include case selection, knowledge and information gathering; adapting and applying methods; work shopping; methods testing and next phase planning, and synthesis and presentation of results.
