Principal Investigator Brad Pentelute
The Pentelute Lab is developing ultra rapid, fully automated, flow based peptide synthesis technology that enables the incorporation of each amino acid residue in well under two minutes. This technology is leveraged to synthesize full length proteins with non-natural amino acids, peptides with novel functionality, and materials which are difficult to express recombinantly. This work is done in a collaboration with the Jensen laboratory at MIT Chemical Engineering Department.
