The Interactive Robotics Group is a research lab at MIT developing innovative methods for enabling fluid human-robot collaboration. The vision is to harness relative strengths of humans and robots to accomplish what neither can do alone. Focus is on developing robots that work in teams with people in high-intensity and safety-critical applications, including industrial manufacturing, disaster response, and space exploration.

The lab is in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics and is affiliated with the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
