Climate Change: Tools and Resources

Principal Investigator Juliet Simpson

Rising sea levels, warmer winters and hotter summers, and increased severity of storms and storm surges are some of the important changes that our shifting climate will bring to coastal communities. MIT Sea Grant is working to reduce and mitigate negative impacts to both the ecology and the infrastructure of coastal habitats, waterfront properties, and fishing and marine industries. We've compiled an annotated list of tools and resources for climate change, including general information and teaching tools, sources for climate data, adaptation strategies, modeling and mapping tools, communication tips, and how to prepare for severe storms or hurricanes.
