Computational Sensitivity Analysis

A main advantage of computational approach over experimental methods in engineering design is the ability to perform fast and accurate sensitivity analysis. Both forward tangent method and adjoint method computes the derivative of output quantities of interest with respect to input variables, including design variables and uncertain variables. We design algorithms for computational sensitivity analysis and use them in a variety of aerospace applications.
