To study the role of Helicobacter as a tumor promoter in gastric cancer and examine the mechanisms by which it contributes to the malignant process. The goal of this study is to investigate mechanisms involved in Helicobacter - dependent loss of parietal cells, which is the first step in progression to gastric cancer.
