Immunoaffinity Separations

Principal Investigator Clark Colton

Microporous and ultrafiltration affinity membranes are being explored for use in highly selective protein and cell purifications with application to medical therapy and biotechnological separations. Current projects are concerned with development of a novel method for reversible positive cell selection using physical forces such as backpressure to detach positively selected cells bound to a membrane surface by immnoaffinity ligands.
