Jean-Noel Barrot conducts research in corporate finance, with a particular focus on entrepreneurial finance. In recent work, he has studied the effect of venture capital fund managers horizon on their investment decisions, the effect of trade credit on competition and entrepreneurship, and the behavior of individual investors during the recent financial crisis.
