Research Summary

Neha Mehta is a Ph.D. student in Envionmental Engineering in Professor Charles Harvey group at MIT. Her current research focus is on understanding the environmnetal impacts related to hydrualic fracturing on water resources. She is approaching this problem from a hydrogeologist perspectives, focusing on developing an understanding of the geochemical interactions resulting in contamination of water and subsequent flow and retention of water in sub-surface envrionment.
