Decision-Making Problems in the Sharing Economy
Research Summary
Before coming to MIT, Daniel Freund was a research fellow at Lyft Marketplace Labs. Freund has a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Cornell University. Freund's research focuses on complex decision-making problems in the sharing economy. During his Ph.D., he developed the systems used by bike-sharing companies to ensure there are available bikes spread out among docking stations.
