Areas of Interest and Expertise

Dr. Anderson laboratory is dedicated to discovering new optical treatments and diagnostics, mainly for problems in dermatology.

Research Summary

Dr. Anderson's research interests focus on photothermal and photochemical skin treatments and in vivo optical diagnostics. Photomedicine includes all biological, therapeutic and diagnostic aspects of optical radiation. The Wellman Center is a large multidisciplinary research center located at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), with diverse students, fellows, and faculty.
