Research Summary
Professor Leslie Kolodziejski and Dr. Gale Petrich direct the Integrated Photonics Devices and Materials Research Group and operate the NanoPrecision Deposition Laboratory at MIT. Research conducted in the Integrated Photonics Devices and Materials Research Group deals with the creation and development of advanced technologies, materials, components, and integrated photonic circuits. The current research projects are:
(1) Photonic Crystals
(2) Integrated Optical Logic
(3) Nano-Cavity Electrically Activated Laser
(4) Components for Ultra-Short Pulse Lasers
(5) Modulators for Optical Arbitrary Waveform Generator
(6) Nano-Electro-Mechnical Optical Switch
