Daniel Fischer joined the Office of Corporate Relations in August 2015, as Senior Industrial Liaison Officer.

Fischer comes to OCR with many years of international experience in strategic management, marketing, new ventures, and business development. Most recently, he founded and has led Parent Powered Innovation, a non-profit organization that works with pharma and Biotechnology companies, academic institutions, patient advocacy groups, and funding sources to support parents to drive the sciences to develop cures for rare genetic diseases. (www.parentpoweredinnovation.org) . Before that, Fischer was the founder, President, and CEO of Intellimedix which he founded to develop and implement a platform for personalized medicine. Among his accomplishments at Intellimedix were building partnerships with Pfizer and the Epilepsy Foundation, Courtagen, Quest Diagnostics, GW Pharma, and Canyon Ranch. Prior to this, Fischer was Co-Founder of Consumer Centric Strategy (CCS) Partners which applied advanced analytics and consumer insights to identify new opportunities for companies including The Body Shop, Ann Taylor, Alabama Gas, and Eddy Merckx Bicycles. Fischer has also held positions as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies including Clorox, Chick-fil-A, Aon, Bellsouth, Alcoa, and Dell. Early in his career Daniel was a Senior Manager for Arthur D. Little.

Fischer earned his B.S.E.E. at Tel-Aviv University & Simon Bolivar University (joint program), his M.B.A. at I.E.S.A. in Caracas, and he attended the Executive Education Finance Program at The Wharton School. He is a Board Member of the Anti-Defamation League, is fluent in Spanish and English, and is a former member of the Venezuelan National swimming and water polo teams.
