Research Summary
Karen Tapia-Ahumada's research interests include the operation and planning of electric power systems, distributed energy resources, and the market and regulatory structures required to support the development of sustainable energy systems. More particularly, she is interested in understanding the potential value of micro combined heat and power technologies not only to residential customers, but also to the energy systems they are embedded.
