Helping MIT Faculty Connect to Industry
MIT Industry Gateway
What is the Industrial Liaison Program?
The Industrial Liaison Program (ILP) is industry’s most comprehensive portal to MIT, enabling companies worldwide to harness MIT resources to address current challenges and to anticipate future needs. The ILP helps company executives monitor MIT research developments, identifies MIT resources of interest, arranges expert face-to-face meetings with MIT faculty, and advises members on research sponsorship and technology licensing opportunities.
Over 190 of the world's leading companies partner with the Industrial Liaison Program to advance their research agendas at MIT.
ILP member companies account for approximately 47% of all single-sponsored research expenditures and corporate gifts/grants at MIT (FY10).
- Meet potential research sponsors

Please refer to the ILP's Guide for Faculty and Staff for detailed explanations of how the ILP works, including our Revenue Sharing Program and the availability of supplemental travel funds.
