MIT Conference Attendance
Over the course of the academic year, the ILP holds several conferences that typically are free of charge to ILP members. These include the annual Research and Development (RD) and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) conferences, among other more narrowly focused conferences targeting specific industries, labs, or emerging technologies.
In addition to Technology and the Corporation Conference Series, the ILP often co-sponsors events with MIT partners, generally admission is available to ILP participants at a discounted rate. A videoconference link may be available to a number of companies for selected MIT-based ILP conferences. There are occasional seminars offered off-campus as well.
The ILP’s Video Archive stores digital on-line presentations, abstracts and biographical materials from ILP events linked to conference agendas and is available through the ILP members only website.
The ILP’s private Web-based database of faculty/research staff expertise and research projects contains abstracts and hyperlinks to faculty-maintained web pages. It provides a way for anyone in a member organization to explore research of interest, to see how many people are involved, and to find emerging technology that might affect their company. Your officer is an expert in this system and is prepared to assist or lead in your exploration.
