The MIT Production in the Innovation Economy project offers a multi-disciplinary perspective on the challenges facing U.S. industry. Inspired by the 1986 MIT Commission on Industrial Productivity and its influential Made in America report, PIE aims to develop recommendations for transforming America's production capabilities in an era of increased global competition.
The 2013 MIT PIE Conference will feature presentations from prominent government, academic, and industry leaders and mark the release of two books detailing the study’s findings: Making in America: From Innovation to Market and Production in the Innovation Economy.
Online Registration Now Closed: Walk-in registration starts from 8:00AM on September 20.
